14:30 – Continue touring the Old City: the Christian Quarter and the Muslim Quarter
Jerusalem is holy to the three major monotheistic faiths. At this stage of the itinerary, we will walk along what Christianity teaches is the path Jesus took to the location of his crucifixion. We will visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the place where Jesus was crucified and where, according to Christian tradition, he was resurrected. On our tour, we will also examine the Islamic connection to Jerusalem, the story of its sanctification and how it became the third holiest city in Islam.
